Genealogy of the extended Twersky family, by R. Aaron D. Twersky. Founded by Grand R. Menachem Nochum Twersky “Meor Einayim”. The dynasty is named after the Ukrainian town of Chernobyl, where R. Nochum served as the maggid. The Chernobyl dynasty includes Cherkas, Horonsteipl, Machnovka, Rachmistrivka, Skver, Tolna, Trisk and several others. At the onset of the Holocaust there were hundreds of descendants in the extended family. Numerous facsimiles including an approbation written by R. Moshe Rokeach, on behalf of his father of R.
