Halachic responsa of R. Moshe Teitelbaum of Ujhel. ™ R. Moshe Teitelbaum (1759 -1841) known as the Yismach Moshe was the Rav of Ujhel in Hungary. A student of the Chozeh of Lublin, he was instrumental in bringing Chassidus to Hungary. Though initially opposed to Chasidim, after his sonin-law introduced him to the Chozeh of Lublin, he soon became an ardent Chasid. He first served as Rav in Przemysl and later in Ujhel. Well known as a tremendous Talmid Chochom he received Halachic queries from many Jewish communities and his responses were published posthumously under the title Heishiv Moshe. Yosef Chananya Lipa Meisels, Rav of Przemysl. Luria press. One of the earliest books printed in Przemysl. 2, 132, 2 pages. Some pages creased, with small tear. Original binding with reinforced spine. With signatures and stamps of R. Yaakov Yitzchok Ruderman Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Yisroel Baltimore.
