Signature card issued by a bank confirming the trustees of the bank account of Yeshiva Farm Settlement Inc. The signatories are R. Michoel Ber Weissmandel (Assistant Secretary), Mr. Emanuel Felsenburg (President), R. Sholom Moshe (Solomon) Ungar (Vice President) and Mr. Sigmund Frost (Secretary). ™ R. Chaim Michael Dov (Ber) Weissmandel (1903-1957), was an outstanding talmid chacham who served as the Rosh Yeshiva of the Nitra Yeshiva and was particularly renowned for his rescue activities during the Holocaust. Through his efforts, the mass deportation of Slovakian Jews was delayed for two years, from 1942 to 1944. In November 1946, after losing his entire family in the Holocaust, he gathered the surviving students from the original Nitra yeshiva and re-established the yeshiva in Somerville, New Jersey, together with his brother-in-law, R. Sholom Moshe Ungar. Dated April 1954; with signatures of all of the above.
