R. Ezriel Yehuda Lebovits (1910-1992), was born in Paks. He was Talmid of R. Mordechai Leib Winkler of Mad and R’ Eliezer David Grunewald of Satmar. He was the son in law R. Yitzchok Rosenberg, Rov of Hadhaz where he served as Dayan and Rosh Yeshiva. Following the Holocaust, he immigrated to America and in 1961 succeeded R. Yonason Steif as the Rov of the Viener Kehilla.
