R. Menachem Mendel Landman (1840-1918), was a son of R. Tzvi Hirsch of Strelisk and Kitov, who was a grandson of the famed R. Uri of Strelisk. Known as a tremendous Talmid Chochom as well as a great Mekubal, he served as Rav and Rebbe in Potilotsh and was one of the distinguished Rebbes in Galicia. He was closely associated with the Rebbes of Belz, to whom he was related by marriage. He authored a number of important seforim.

ר’ מנחם מנדל לנדמן (ת”ר- תרע”ח, 1840-1918) היה בנו של ר’ צבי הירש מסטרילסק ומקיטוב, שהיה נכד להרה’ק ר’ אורי מסטרליסק. נודע כתלמיד חכם ומקובל עצום. כיהן כרב ואדמו”ר בפוטוליטש, והיה מגדולי אדמורי גליציה. היה מקושר מאוד לאדמו”רים מבעלז, ואף התקשר עימם בקשר נישואין. חיבר מספר ספרים חשובים.
