R. Binyamin Ze’ev Wolf Ha’Levi Boskowitz (1740-1818), was a son and Talmid of R. Shmuel Ha’Levi Kellin Rav of Boskowitz (1724-1806) the celebrated author of The Machzitz Ha’Shekel. He served as Rav in various communities including Prostitz, where he developed a close relationship with the Chasam Sofer. He was one of the great Torah Leaders of his generation and was greatly respected by the Noda B’Yehuda, R. Akiva Eiger, R. Mordechai Banet and R. Betzalel Ranschburg amongst others.
He authored numerous seforim, most notably his monumental Seder Mishnah on the Rambam.

ר’ בנימין זאב וולף הלוי בוסקוביץ (ת”ק- תקע”ח, 1740-1818), היה בנו ותלמידו של ר’ שמואל הלוי קלין, רבה של בוסקוביץ ומחבר הספר מחצית השקל. כיהן כרב בקהילות שונות, בתוכן פרוסטיץ שבה התקרב במיוחד לחתם סופר. היה מגדולי המנהיגים בתקופתו, והנודע ביהודה, ר’ עקיבא אייגר, ר’ מרדכי בנט, ר’ בצלאל רנשבורג ועוד רבנים רבים אחרים כיבדוהו ביותר.
חיבר ספרים רבים, כשהמפורסם ביותר ספרו סדר משנה על הרמב”ם.
