Yaakov ibn Chaviv and R. Yaakov Beirav in Lisbon. After the expulsion of the Jews from Spain, he resided in Salikona where he led one the greatest Yeshivas of his era. Following that he lived in Constantinople also serving as Rosh Yeshiva. He was one of the most illustrious leaders of his generation and R. Shlomo Alkabetz and R.
