Photographic publication depicting in great detail the
activities of the various rescue committees, functioning
in the displaced persons camps in Germany. With
facsimiles of hundreds of photographs and documents
concerning the Kosher kitchens, schools, Yeshivas,
printing of religious books, emigration, photographs
of Rabbinical leaders, central figures in the committee,
letters of notables etc.
With handwritten dedication by the publisher, Rabbi
Nathan Baruch of the Va’ad Hatzala to a benefactor
who assisted towards the book’s publication.
262 pages 29 cm. Fair condition, dry paper with some
pages loose and some small tears. Original boards
slightly skewed, lacking spine.
