Sefer with ten derashos, delivered by R. Tzvi Hirsch, the Maggid of Vodislov. In his introduction he writes that with the generous support of the Kehillo of Berlin, he was able to finance the printing of ten out of a total of one hundred derashos, hence the name Asaroh L’Meah.
R. Tzvi Hirsch of Vodislov, was the son-in-law of R. Betzalel of Zolkiew, author of the B’Sheim Betzalel. He served as a Maggid in Vodislov.
R. Simcha Bunim of Peshisca (1765-1827), was a central figure in the Chassidic movement. In his youth, he studied under his father and later in Mattersdorf and Nikolsburg. After being introduced to the world of Chassidus he became a Chossid of the Kozhnitzer Maggid, the Chozeh of Lublin and the Yid HaKodosh of Peshisca. Following the passing of the Yid HaKodosh, he became the Rebbe of many of the Peshisca Chasidim.

ר’ צבי הירש מוואדיסלאב היה חתנו של ר’ בצלאל מז’ולקווא, מחבר הספר בשם בצלאל. שימש כמגיד בוואדיסלאב.
ר’ שמחה בונים מפשיסחא (1765-1827, תקכ”ה- תקפ”ז) היה דמות מרכזית בתנועת החסידות. בצעירותו הוא למד אצל אביו ואחר כך במטרסדורף ובניקלשבורג. לאחר שהכיר את עולם החסידות, הוא היה לחסידו של המגיד מקוז’ניץ, החוזה מלובלין והיהודי הקדוש מפשיסחא. בעקבות פטירת היהודי הקדוש, הוא הפך לרבם של הרבה חסידי פשיסחא.
