Autograph letter by R. Zundel Kroizer to the Beis Zvul Yeshiva, expressing surprise that he has not yet been paid the 10 Lira he was due to receive for giving a shiur at the Yeshiva, as per the agreement of both parties.
R. Zundel Kroizer (1923-2014), was born in Yerusholayim and studied in the Eitz Chaim Yeshiva, where he was known as a great Masmid and Tzaddik. After his marriage, he became one of the first to join the Mirrer Kollel under R. Chaim Brim and R. Moshe Yehoshua Landau. This group was close to the Chazon Ish and R. Zundel considered him his Rebbe Muvhak. For a while he studied with R. Berel Soloveitchik as well as with the young R. Nosson Tzvi Finkel at the behest of R. Eliezer Yehuda Finkel. Although he never accepted an official position, he was known as a tremendous masmid, with an all-encompassing knowledge of Torah. Although he was enormously respected, he was extremely humble, living extremely simply. Author of the multi-volume Ohr HaChama.

מכתב אוטוגרפי מאת ר’ זונדל קרויזר לישיבת בית זבול, המביע תמיהה על כי לא קיבל סך 10 לירות על שיעור שמסר בישיבה, כפי שסוכם בין שני הצדדים.
ר’ זונדל קרויזר (תרפ”ג- תשע”ד, 1923-2014), נולד בירושלים ולמד בישיבת עץ חיים, שם נודע כמתמיד וצדיק גדול. אחר נישואיו היה מראשוני האברכים שלמדו בכולל מיר בהנהגת ר’ חיים ברים ור’ משה יהושע לנדא. קבוצה זו הייתה מקורבת להחזון איש ור’ זונדל החשיבו לרבו המובהק. במשך תקופה למד עם ר’ בערל סולובייצ’יק וכן עם ר’ נתן צבי פינקל הצעיר, לבקשת ר’ אליעזר יהודה פינקל. אף שמעולם לא קיבל עליו משרה רשמית, הוא נודע כמתמיד עצום, בעל ידע מקיף של התורה. למרות שהיה נכבד מאוד, חי בפשטות ובצניעות גדולה. מחבר הספר רב הכרכים אור החמה.
