Classic sefer on Tractate Chulin and Hilchos Shechita authored by R. Alexander Sender Schor.
R. Alexander Sender Schor (1673-1737), was one the greatest Rabbinical figures of his era. For hundreds of years this sefer has served as one of the most fundamental seforim on Hilchos Shechita. The Tevuos Shor discusses at length Hilchos Shechita; Simloh Chadoshah discusses the Piskei Halocha established in the Tevuos Shor and the Bechor Shor consists of novella on Chulin and numerous other tractates. The sefer was received to great acclaim with several later achronim authoring commentaries on it.
The three illustrations depicting various scenes are an ingenious representation of the three parts of the sefer and are lacking in many copies.
