Historical letter with blessings for a “Ksiva V’Chasima Toiva and a Refuah Shleima” by R. Itzik’l of Pshevorsk. Additionally in the letter, the R. Itzik’l’ writes that the blessings of the Satmar Rebbe should be fulfilled.
R. Moshe Yitzchak (Itzik’l) Gewircman of Pshevorsk (1882-1976), was born in Gorlitz and was close to R. Yechezkel Halberstam, (Shinniva Rav). He was a descendant of the Noam Elimelech. After his wedding he settled in the town of Pshevorsk and was subsequently known as R. Itzik’l M’Pshevorsk. During the Holocaust he was exiled to Siberia together with his son in law (and later successor) R. Yankele Leiser and young grandson R. Leibish Leiser (the current Pshevorsker Rebbe). Following the War he settled in Paris where he was instrumental in helping the Holocaust survivors reestablish themselves. Later, on the instruction of R. Aaron of Belz he moved to Antwerp. Known as a great miracle worker, thousands of Jews flocked to him from around the globe. Despite being a great Rebbe in his own right, R. Itzik’l considered himself a Chossid of the Satmar Rav, and would regularly travel to the Satmar Rav as a Chossid. In this historical letter, in addition to his own brocho for a Refuah Shleima, R. Itzik’l gives a Brocho that the Brocho of the Satmar Rov be fulfilled. Hence this letter contains the Brocho of two of the greatest Rebbes of recent generations.

מכתב היסטורי עם ברכות ל”כתיבה וחתימה טובה ורפואה שלימה” מאת ר’ איציקל’ מפשוורסק. כמו כן כותב ר’ איציקל’ במכתב שהברכות של האדמו”ר מסאטמר תתקיימנה.
ר’ משה יצחק (איציקל’) גבירצמן מפשוורסק (תרמ”ב – תשל”ו, 1882-1976), נולד בגורליץ והיה מקורב לר’ יחזקאל הלברשטאם (האדמו”ר משיניווא). הוא היה צאצא של בעל ה”נועם אלימלך”. לאחר חתונתו הוא התיישב בפשוורסק ומכאן שמו – ר’ איציקל’ מפשוורסק. בשנות השואה הוגלה יחד עם חתנו (ממלא מקומו העתידי) ר’ יענקל’ה לייזער ונכדו הצעיר ר’ לייביש לייזער (האדמו”ר הנוכחי מפשוורסק), לסיביר. לאחר המלחמה הוא התיישב בפאריז, שם סייע רבות לניצולי השואה לבנות את חייהם מחדש. אח”כ היגר לאנטוורפן בהוראת האדמו”ר מבעלז. הוא נודע כבעל מופת ואלפי יהודים נהרו אליו מכל קצוות תבל. למרות היותו אדמו”ר גדול בזכות עצמו, ר’ איציקל’ החזיק את עצמו כחסיד של האדמו”ר מסאטמר והיה נוסע אליו בקביעות כחסיד מן השורה.
במכתב היסטורי זה, בנוסף לברכתו שלו לרפואה שלימה, הוא מברך שברכת האדמו”ר מסאטמר תתמלא. כך אוצר מכתב זה בתוכו ברכות של שניים מהאדמו”רים הגדולים ביתר בדורות האחרונים.
