Rare autograph postcard by R. Avrohom Yitzchok Gluck to R. Meir Tzvi Jung of Ungarish-Brod notifying him that he is sending him his Sefer Yad Yitzchok volume 3, concluding with warm blessings. This rare letter evidences the esteem which R. Avrohom Yitzchok Glick had for R. Meir Tzvi Jung. This letter was written two months before the passing of R. Avrohom Yitzchok Glick.
R. Avrohom Yitzchak Glick (1826-1909), was a close student of R. Shmuel Shmelke Klein of Selish (R. Shmelke Selisher) and R. Yitzchok Moshe Perles of Bonyad. He was the son-in-law of R. Yeshaya Banet and served as Rav in Halas, and Tolshova. He was one of the most prominent and most influential rabbinical figures in Hungary. It is related that many Hungarian communities would only appoint Rabbonim if they had received his Semicha. Author of the famed Yad Yitzchak.

גלויה אוטוגרפית נדירה שכתב ר’ אברהם יצחק גליק לר’ מאיר צבי יונג מאונגריש – בראד, בו הוא מעדכן אותו כי שלח אליו עותק מספרו יד יצחק חלק ג’, ומסיים בברכות נלבבות. מכתב נדיר זה מלמד עד כמה העריץ ר’ אברהם יצחק גליק את ר’ מאיר צבי יונג. המכתב נכתב חודשיים לפני פטירתו של ר’ אברהם יצחק גליק.
ר’ אברהם יצחק גליק (תקפ”ו- תרס”ט, 1826-1909), היה תלמיד ומקורב ביותר לר’ שמואל שמעלקא קליין מסעליש (ר’ שמעלקא סעליש’ר) ור’ יצחק משה פארלעס מבוניהד. נישא לבתו של ר’ ישעיה בנט וכיהן כרב בהאלס וטלטשטווה. התפרסם מאוד בדורו והשפיע מאוד על יהדות הונגריה. מסופר כי קהילות רבות בהונגריה הסכימו למנות עליהן רק רבנים שקבלו סמיכה ממנו. מחבר הספר הנודע יד יצחק.
