R. Moshe Yeruchum Morgenstern, was a grandson of the famed R. Mendel of Kotzk. The Kotzker’s youngest son, R. Moshe Yeruchum, tragically passed away in the lifetime of his father, leaving a young widow who shortly thereafter gave birth to a son who was named Moshe Yeruchum after his father. The signature reads “Moshe Yeruchum the son of Moshe Yeruchum”, with an additional stamp.

ר’ משה ירוחם מורגנשטרן היה נכדו של ר’ מנדל הנודע מקוצק. בן זקוניו של ‘הקוצקער’, ר’ משה ירוחם, נפטר באופן טראגי בחיי אביו, בהותירו אלמנה צעירה שילדה זמן קצר אחר כך. הבן שנולד נקרא משה ירוחם על שם אביו. בחתימה כתוב: “משה ירוחם בן משה ירוחם”, וכן חותמת נוספת.
