• Autograph postcard written to his relative R. Skolsky. Dated (London) Chanukah 1933 with R. Dessler making arrangements to visit his relative on Motzoei Shabbos Chanukah.

• Autograph picture postcard from the English seaside resort of Cliftonville written to his relative R. Eliyohu Eliezer Skolsky. Dated August 1935, R. Dessler apologizes that he was unable to meet R. Skolsky before leaving London. He writes that the resort is a pleasant place with good air and invites his relative to visit him there. Concludes that although he hasn’t received correspondence from his wife he has received a long letter from his son (i.e. R. Nochum Zev Dessler).

• Handwritten transcript (written by R. Skolsky) of the lengthy speech delivered in Yiddish by R. Dessler at the ceremony of the laying of the “Foundation Stone” for London’s Dalston Bais Ha’Midrash in 1934, where R. Dessler served as Rav. R. Dessler elaborates on the projected goals for his Kehilla in their new shul. 7 pages. 17 by 12 cm. Excellent condition.
• Transcript (written by R. Skolsky) of the proposed inscription on the Tombstone of R. Reuven Dov Dessler (1962). 2 pages 17.5 by 23 cm. Excellent condition.
R. Reuven Dov Dessler (1863–1935) was one of the most distinguished disciples of R. Simcha Zissel Ziv (Alter of Kelm). He served as head of the Talmud Torah in Kelm and towards the end of his life relocated to London where he lived with son R. E. Dessler. Upon his passing in 1935, no tombstone was erected in accordance with the custom in Kelm, however in 1962 the family did erect a stone.
R. Eliyohu Eliezer Dessler (1892–1953) was a descendant of R. Yisroel Lipkin (Salanter) and a great Ba’al Mussar. He immigrated to London in 1927 where he served as Rav in Dalston and taught small groups of outstanding talmidim. He later founded Gateshead Kollel. Towards the end of his life he moved to Erets Yisroel where he served as Mashgiach in the Ponevesh Yeshiva. His seforim “Miktav M’Eliyohu” published by his talmidim posthumously are extremely popular and have been reprinted numerous times.

• גלוית תמונה אוטוגרפית מעיירת הנופש האנגלית קליפטונוויל שעל שפת הים. הגלויה ממוענת לקרוב משפחתו, ר’ אליהו אליעזר סקולסקי ומתוארכת לאוגוסט תרצ”ה (1935). הרב דסלר מתנצל שלא עלה בידו לפגוש את הרב סקולסקי בטרם עזב את לונדון. הוא כותב שעיירת הנופש נעימה עם אוויר טוב ומזמין את קרוב משפחתו לבקר אותו במקום. לסיום הוא כותב שלמרות שלא קיבל מכתב מאשתו, הוא קיבל מכתב ארוך מבנו (דהיינו, ר’ נחום זאב דסלר).

• תעתיק בכתב יד (נכתב על ידי ר’ סקולסקי) של הדרשה הארוכה שמסר הרב דסלר באידיש בטקס הנחת אבן הפינה בבית המדרש דלסטון בלונדון בתרצ”ד (1934), שם כיהן הרב דסלר כרב. הרב דסלר מפרט את יעדיו עבור קהילתו בבית הכנסת החדש. 7 עמודים. 17X12 ס”מ. מצב מצוין.
• תעתיק (נכתב על ידי ר’ סקולסקי) של ההקדשה המוצעת למצבתו של ר’ ראובן דוב דסלר (תשכ”ב-1962). 2 עמודים. 17.5X23 ס”מ. מצב מצוין.
ר’ ראובן דוב דסלר (תרכ”ג-תרצ”ה 1863-1935) היה מבכירי תלמידיו של ר’ שמחה זיסל זיו (הסבא מקלם). הוא שימש כראש התלמוד תורה בקלם, ובאחרית ימיו עבר ללונדון והתגורר אצל בנו ר’ א. דסלר. לאחר פטירתו בשנת תרצ”ה (1935) לא הוקמה כל מצבה על קברו בהתאם למנהג בקלם. אולם, בשנת תשכ”ב (1962) המשפחה הקימה מצבה.
ר’ אליהו אליעזר דסלר (תרנ”ב-תשי”ג 1892-1953) היה צאצא של ר’ ישראל ליפקין (סלנטר) ובעל מוסר עצום. הוא היגר ללונדון בתרפ”ז (1927), שם כיהן כרב בדלסטון ולימד קבוצות קטנות של תלמידים מצטיינים. לימים הוא ייסד את כולל גייטסהד. בסוף חייו הוא עלה לארץ ישראל, שם שימש כמשגיח בישיבת פונובז’. סדרת ספריו, “מכתב מאליהו”, שהודפסה על ידי תלמידיו לאחר פטירתו, היא פופולרית ביותר והודפסה שוב פעמים רבות.
