Two printed invitations from the Imrei Emes, on the occasion of his grandchildren’s weddings.
• Dated Sivan 1944 for the wedding of his grandson. Curiously the Rebbe added a note that since it is difficult to gather together (likely due to curfews imposed by the British Mandate authorities) the Chasidim people should not personally participate in the festivities, but rather should rejoice at home.
• Dated Elul 1946 for the wedding of a grandson.
R. Avrohom Mordechai Alter (1866 – 1948), known as the Imrei Emes was a son of the Sfas Emes, whom he succeeded as Gerrer Rebbe. Known as a tremendous Talmid Chochom he also a leader of Agudas Yisroel in Poland, and was very involved in communal affairs. In 1940 he miraculously escaped Nazi occupied Warsaw and immigrated to Erets Yisroel where he was niftar in 1948.

• הזמנה מתוארכת לסיון תש”ד (1944) לחתונת נכדו. הרבי הוסיף הערה מעניינת: היות שקשה להתאסף יחד (ככל הנראה בשל העוצר שהטילו סמכויות המנדט הבריטי), אל לחסידים להשתתף בחגיגות באופן אישי אלא לשמוח בבית.
• הזמנה מתוארכת לאלול תש”ו (1946) לחתונת נכדו.
ר’ אברהם מרדכי אלתר (תרכ”ו-תש”ח 1866-1948), המוכר בכינוי “אמרי אמת”, היה בנו של ה”שפת אמת” וממלא מקומו כרבי מגור. הוא התפרסם כתלמיד חכם עצום ומנהיג אגודת ישראל בפולין, והיה מעורב מאוד בענייני הציבור. בשנת ת”ש (1940) הוא נמלט בנס מוורשא הכבושה בידי הנאצים ועלה לארץ ישראל, שם נפטר בתש”ח (1948).
