R. Yekusiel Yehuda Greenwald (1890-1955), was born in Sighet and studied under R. Shmuel Rosenberg in Unsdorf and R. Moshe Greenwald in Chust. From the age of 14 he began writing articles in Yiddish and Hebrew for numerous publications throughout the region. At the age of 15, he published his first work titled Nitei Bachurim and the following year he published Beis Yonason, a biography of R. Yonason Eibeshitz. In 1925 he immigrated to the United States, where he served as Rav of Columbus, Ohio until his passing.

ר’ יחזקאל יהודה גרינוואלד תר”נ- תשט”ו (1890-1955), נולד בסיגעט ולמד תורה אצל ר’ שמואל רוזנברג באונסדורף ור’ משה גרינוואלד בהוסט. בגיל 14 החל כותב מאמרים ביידיש ובעברית שהתפרסמו בהוצאות רבות בכל רחבי האזור. בגיל 15 הוציא לאור את חיבורו הראשון נטעי בחורים, ושנה אחר כך הוציא את הספר בית יהונתן – ביוגרפיה על ר’ יהונתן אייבשיץ. בשנת תשי”ב (1952) היגר לארצות הברית, שם כיהן כרב בקולומבוס אוהיו עד פטירתו.
