Tosefta Seder Taharos, with the commentary of the Vilna Gaon printed just a few years after his passing. Published by R. Meir of Vilna, who received the Tosefta with the glosses of the Gaon directly from the Gaon. He writes in his introduction that “I did not leave the “Tent of Torah” at the home of Rabbeinu Ha’Gaon Ha’Chosid R. Eliyohu of Vilna”. Although this sefer received various enthusiastic approbations from R. Mordechai Banet and the Yeshuos Yaakov, this publication was criticized by the sons of the Gaon (see the introduction to “Sefer Yonah” Vilna 1810).

תוספתא סדר טהרות עם פירוש הגאון מוילנא שנדפס שנים מעטות לאחר פטירתו. יצא לאור על ידי ר’ מאיר מוילנא שקיבל את התוספתא עם ההגהות ישירות מידי הגר”א, וכתב בהקדמתו כי “לא משתי מתוך אוהלה של תורה בבית הגאון האמיתי החסיד המפורסם ר’ אליהו מוילנא”. אמנם נכתבו לספר כמה הסכמות נלהבות, ביניהן הסכמותיהם של הרב מרדכי בנט ובעל ה”ישועות יעקב”. למרות זאת, בני הגר”א התנגדו להוצאתו (עיין הקדמה לספר יונה, וילנא תק”ע 1810).
