R. Menachem Mendel Kasher (1895-1984), was known as a child prodigy, who from a young age corresponded with the great Gedolim of his time including the Rogatchover Gaon, the Kli Chemdah, R. Menachem Ziemba, R. Elchonon Wasserman and the Chazon Ish. In 1924, he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel at the behest of the Imrei Emes, where he established and headed the Sfas Emes Yeshiva. He was the editor of countless works including his magnum opus, Torah Shleima, the Noam journals, the writings of the Rogatchover, a work on the Haggadah and a work on the dateline among others.

ר’ מנחם מנדל כשר (תרנ”ה-תרמ”ד 1895-1984) היה ידוע כילד פלא שהתכתב מגיל צעיר עם גדולי דורו כולל הגאון מרוגצ’וב, ה’כלי חמדה’, ר’ מנחם זעמבא, ר’ אלחנן וסרמן והחזון איש. בשנת תרפ”ד (1924) הוא עלה לארץ ישראל לבקשת ה’אמרי אמת’, שם ייסד את ישיבת ‘שפת אמת’ ועמד בראשה. ערך אינספור ספרים כולל, ‘תורה שלמה’, ביטאוני ‘נועם’, כתבי הרוגצ’ובר, ספר על ההגדה, ספר קו התאריך ועוד.
