Responsum 76 deals with the incident of the Aguna from Staszow, an episode which became a great Halachic polemic. The Kozhnitzer Maggid permitted the Aguna to remarry, and he sent the question to R. Yitzchak Avrahom Katz of Pinczow, who agreed with his opinion. This sefer contains the precise wording of the question, followed by the opinion of the Kozhnitzer Maggid who wrote two responsa on the issue, and then other responsa, among them one from R. Pinchos HaLevi Horowitz (the Haflo’ah).

תשובה עו’ עוסקת במקרה של עגונה מסטשוב, אפיזודה שהפכה לפולמוס הלכתי נרחב. המגיד מקוז’ניץ התיר לעגונה להינשא מחדש, והוא שלח את השאלה לר’ יצחק אברהם כץ מפינצ’וב, שהסכים לדעתו. ספר זה כולל את הניסוח המדויק של השאלה, ולאחר מכן את דעתו של המגיד מקוז’ניץ שכתב שתי תשובות בנושא. אחר כך מופיעים שו”ת אחרים, ביניהם מר’ פנחס הלוי הורביץ (הפלאה).
