Classic sefer of novella on Maseches Kidushin by R. Pinchos Ha’Levy Horowitz.
R. Pinchos Ha’Levy Horowitz (1730- 1805), was one of the most prominent disciples of the Maggid of Mezritch. He served as Rav in various communities including Vitkova, Lechowitz and most notably Frankfurt. He was renowned as a great Rav and Posek as well as a prolific writer and is often referred to as “The Haflo’ah” after his work on Maseches Kesubos. He had many distinguished talmidim, most notably the Chasam Sofer.

ר’ פנחס הלוי הורוויץ (ת”צ-תקס”ה 1730-1805) היה מבכירי תלמידיו של המגיד ממזריטש. הוא כיהן כרב בקהילות שונות כולל ויטקווא ולכוביץ, וכהונתו המפורסמת ביותר היתה בעיר פרנקפורט. נודע כרב ופוסק גדול וסופר רב פעלים ונקרא “בעל ההפלאה” על שם ספרו על מסכת כתובות. תלמידו המפורסם ביותר היה החתם סופר.
