One of the first seforim printed in Izmir, this sefer includes many responsa from the author’s teachers R. Aaron and R. Shlomo Chason as well as his brother R. Mordechai.
R. Boruch Kalai (d. 1597) was one of the distinguished rabbinical figures of his era in Turkey. He responded to many halachic queries, which were published posthumously under the title Mekor Boruch.

ר’ ברוך קלעי (נפטר בשנ”ז, 1597), היה אחד הרבנים הנכבדים ביותר בתקופתו בטורקיה. הוא השיב לשאלות הלכתיות רבות, שנדפסו לאחר פטירתו בספר “מקור ברוך”.
