Printed on regal paper by the renowned Schlesinger press. With 13 elaborately illustrated plates including a double page illustration showing the Talmudic sages celebrating the Seder. Curiously the sages featured are labeled as the Rambam, Rashi, Ba’al HaTurim, Beth Yosef and the Rif and show the depictions commonly used for these great early commentators.
On the Title page there is a handwritten dedication to Dr. Leo Deutschlander of the Bais Yaakov movement. Dr. Leo (Shmuel) Deutschlander (1888–1935) was a pioneer of the Bais Yaakov movement in Poland. He devotedly worked alongside Sorah Schenirer almost from the movement’s inception and was instrumental in Bais Yaakov’s success. Highly regarded, his contribution to Torah-true girls education, is immeasurable.

בעמוד השער מופיעה הקדשה בכתב יד לד”ר ליאו דויטשלנדר מתנועת בית יעקב. ד”ר ליאו (שמואל) דויטשלנדר (תרמ”ח-תרצ”ה 1888-1935) היה חלוץ תנועת בית יעקב בפולין. הוא עבד ללא לאות לצד שרה שנירר, כמעט מאז היווסדה של התנועה, ונטל חלק בהצלחת בית יעקב. ההערכה אליו הייתה רבה, ותרומתו לחינוך בנות בדרך התורה אינה ניתנת לשיעור
