R. Meir Arama (died 1522), was one of the most distinguished exiles of the Spanish expulsion. He settled in Naples and later Salonika where he led a great Yeshiva. He authored numerous seforim, including Urim V’Tumim commentary to Yeshaya and Yirmiyahu. He was the son of R. Yitzchok Arama the “Ba’al Ha’Akeidah.”
R. Nochum Dov Ber Friedman (1843-1883), was a son of R. Shalom Yosef Friedman of Sadigura (eldest son of R. Yisroel of Ruzhin) and son-in-law of R. Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, also a son of R. Yisroel of Ruzhin.

ר’ מאיר ערמה (נפטר ברפ”ב 1522) היה מגדולי מגורשי ספרד. התיישב בנאפולי ולאחר מכן בסלוניקי בה עמד בראשות ישיבה מפוארת. חיבר כמה ספרים, ביניהם אורים ותומים – פירוש לספר ישעיהו וירמיהו. היה בנו של ר’ יצחק ערמה “בעל העקדה”.
ר’ נחום דב בער פרידמן (תר”ג- תרמ”ג, 1843-1883) היה בנו של ר’ שלום יוסף פרידמן מסדיגורא, בנו בכורו של ר’ ישראל מרוזין, וחתנו של ר’ אברהם יעקב מסדיגורא, אף הוא בן של ר’ ישראל מרוזין.
