Open letter by the Addas Yeshurun Orthodox Kehilla, regarding the Rabbinate, the Shechitah, as well as the community taxes of Satmar.
Following the passing of R. Eliezer Dovid Greenwald (Keren L’Dovid) in 1928, a fierce disagreement ensued about his rabbinic successor. Although elections took place, it was not until 1934 that R. Yoel Teitelbaum moved to Satmar to accept the position.

אחר פטירתו של ר’ אליעזר דוד גרינוואלד (קרן לדוד) בשנת תרפ”ח 1928, התגלעו חילוקי דעות נחרצים בנוגע למינוי הרב ממלא מקומו. אמנם נערכו בחירות, אולם רק בשנת תרצ”ד 1934 עבר ר’ יואל טייטלבוים לסאטמר וקיבל עליו את עול הרבנות.
