Fundamental sefer on the proper spelling of names for a Get, by R. Shlomo Ganzfried author of the famed Kitzur Shulchan Aruch.
Upon publication of this sefer a controversy arose as the author disagreed multiple times with the Divrei Chaim of Tzanz. This created a tumult, with R. Mordechai Eliezer Weber of Ada publishing an anonymous polemic against the Ohalei Shem titled Milchemes Chova in 1882. R. Ganzfried responded with Michseh L’Ohel in 1884, to which R. Weber further responded with Milchemes Chova in 1885.
R. Shlomo Ganzfried (1804-1886), served as Av Bais Din in Ungvar where he was greatly revered. He authored many important seforim on a wide variety of topics, most notably the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch which was received to great acclaim, and is accepted as a fundamental Halachic work, found in the majority of Jewish homes.
R. Dov Aryeh Ritter (1855-1936), served as Chief Rabbi of Rotterdam. Known as a prominent Talmid Chochom, he was the first to publicly proclaim the “Yerushalmi Kodshim” as a fraud.

ספר יסוד על הכתיב הנכון של השמות בגט, מאת ר’ שלמה גנצפריד בעל ה”קיצור שולחן ערוך” הנודע.
עם הוצאת הספר לאור, התעוררה מחלוקת מאחר שהמחבר חולק מספר פעמים על הדברי חיים מצאנז. הדבר יצר מהומה, כאשר ר’ מרדכי אליעזר וובר מאדה הדפיס פולמוס אנונימי נגד אוהלי שם בשם מלחמת חובה, בשנת תרמ”ב 1882. הרב גנצפריד הגיב עם ספר מכסה לאוהל בשנת תרמ”ד 1884, עליו הגיב הרב וובר עוד עם מלחמת חובה בתרמ”ה 1885.
ר’ שלמה גנצפריד (תקס”ד-תרמ”ו, 1804-1886), כיהן כאב”ד באונגוואר שם זכה להערכה רבה. חיבר ספרים רבים וחשובים במגוון רחב של נושאים, ובראשם את קיצור שולחן ערוך שהתקבל באהדה עצומה, ונחשב לחיבור הלכתי יסודי, ומצוי כמעט בכל בית יהודי.
ר’ דב אריה ריטר (תרט”ו-תרצ”ו, 1855-1936) כיהן כרב הראשי של רוטרדם. נודע כתלמיד חכם מפורסם, היה הראשון שהכריז בפומבי על הירושלמי קודשים כעל הונאה.
