Rare booklet of “Mussar Shmuesen” given by R. Nosson Tzvi Finkel, the “Alter” of Slabodka, at the famed Knesses Yisroel Slabodka Yeshiva. Prepared for publication by his son in law R. Yitzchok Eisek Sher.
The Knesses Yisroel Slabodka Yeshiva was established in 1881 by R. Nosson Tzvi Finkel (1849-1927), a student of R. Simcha Zissel Ziv, the “Alter” of Kelm. Under the leadership of both the Alter of Slabodka and the Rosh Yeshiva, R. Moshe Mordechai Epstein, it quickly became one of the most prestigious Yeshivos in Eastern Europe.

ספרון נדיר של שיחות מוסר “שמועסן” שנמסרו על ידי ר’ נתן צבי פינקל, הסבא מסלבודקא, בישיבת כנסת ישראל בסלבודקא. נערך לדפוס על ידי חתנו ר’ יצחק אייזיק שר.
ישיבת כנסת ישראל סלבודקא נוסדה בשנת תרמ”א (1881) על ידי ר’ נתן צבי פינקל (תר”ט- תרפ”ז 1849-1927) – תלמידו של ר’ שמחה זיסל זיו, הסבא מקלם. תחת הנהגתם של הסבא מסלובודקא וראש השיבה – ר’ משה מרדכי אפשטיין, הפכה הישיבה במהירות לאחת הישיבות הנחשבות ביותר במזרח אירופה.
