Autograph letter, written to the leaders of the Jewish community in Budapest, requesting financial assistance for medical expenses incurred by the granddaughter of one the leading rabbinical figures in Munkacs, R. Meir Zev Saltzer. ™ R. Nota Shlomo Shlisel (1904-1944) was a son of R. David Shlisel, Rosh Beis Din in Munkacs, whom he succeeded in 1940. A prime student of the Da’as Sofer and the Minchas Elazar, he also served as a Maggid-Shiur in the great Yeshiva of Munkacs. On letterhead of the Munkacs Bais din.
