Interesting responsa regarding a complex Get by Rabbi Dr. Meir Zipser.
Rabbi Dr. Meir Zipser (1815-1869), studied at the great Yeshivos of Eisenstadt and Mikulov, in addition to pursuing secular education. In 1844 he was appointed as Rav of Stuhlweissenburg, where, however, he became involved in a controversy with Orthodox members of the community on account of a divorce which he had granted without a precedent. In his defense he wrote this sefer Mei HaShiloach, to which R. Yedidyah Gottleib Fischer published a sharp rejoinder titled Dlosayim U’Briach (Vienna 1855). Due to the resulting contention, Rabbi Dr. Meir Zipser was forced to resign. He relocated to Rechnitz, where he served as Rabbi for more than a decade until his death in 1869.

תשובה מעניינת בנידון גט מורכב, מאת ר’ מאיר ציפסער.
ר’ ד”ר מאיר ציפסער (תקע”ה- תרכ”ט, 1815-1869) למד בישיבות באייזנשטאט ומיקילוב הנודעות, נוסף להשכלתו החיצונית. בשנת תר”ד 1844 נתמנה לרב בשטולוייסנבורג, אולם נקלע שם למחלוקת עם היהודים האורתודוקסים בקהילה, בענייו גט שהעניק בלא הצדקה. את הספר מי השילוח כתב להגנתו, ור’ ידידיה גוטליב פישר השיב לו במחאה חריפה בשם דלתיים ובריח (וינה תקט”ו 1855). הוויכוח שנוצר אילץ אותו להתפטר, והוא עבר לרכניץ, בה כיהן כרב במשך למעלה מעשור עד לפטירתו בתרכ”ט 1869.
