R. Moshe Soloveitchik (1914-1995), was the son of R. Yisroel Gershon, eldest son of R. Chaim Soloveitchik. In his youth he learned at the Toras Chesed Yeshiva in Brisk under R. Moshe Sokolovsky (Imrei Moshe) and later at the Kaminetz Yeshiva under R. Baruch Ber Leibowitz. He survived the War years together with his close friend R. Aharon Leib Steinman in Montreux, Switzerland. After the war he traveled to Eretz Yisroel where he learned at the Lomza Yeshiva in Petach Tikva. He then returned to Switzerland and led a Yeshiva in Lugano. Following that he served as Rosh Yeshiva in Lucerne, and in 1962 relocated to Zurich.

ר’ משה סאלאוויצ’יק (תרע”ד- תשנ”ה, 1914-1995), היה בנו של ר’ ישראל גרשון, בנו בכורו של ר’ חיים סאלאוויצ’יק. בצעירותו למד בישיבת תורת חסד בבריסק אצל ר’ משה סוקולובסקי (אמרי משה) ואחר כך בישיבת קמניץ אצל ר’ ברוך בער ליבוביץ. שרד את שנות השואה יחד עם ידידו ר’ אהרון לייב שטיינמן במונטרו שבשוויץ. אחר השואה נסע לארץ ישראל ללמוד בישיבת לומז’א שבפתח תקווה, עד שחזר לשוויץ בה עמד בראשות הישיבה בלוגאנו. לימים כיהן כראש ישיבה בלוצרן ובשנת תשכ”ב 1962 עבר לציריך.
