Autograph letter by R. Hillel Vind, gabbai of R. Aaron of Belz, to R. Dovid Perkowitz confidant of the Moditzer Rebbe.
R. Vind writes that he received the Kvittel and Pidyon on behalf of the Moditzer Rebbe and the Rov benches the Moditzer Rebbe with a Refuah Shleimah. He adds that the Rov suggests six things as a segulah for a Refuah Shleimah, as passed down to him from his father (i.e. R. Yisoschar Dov of Belz) in the name of the Sar Shalom of Belz and the Lubliner Rebbe. 1- Not to drink undiluted milk, rather to mix it with some water. 2- Not to eat cheese or cream. 3- Not to fast any fast other than Yom Kippur. 4- Not to drink any alcoholic beverages. 5- Not to go to a cemetery, even to daven at Kivrei Tzadikim. 6- Not to listen to music.

מכתב אוטוגרפי שכתב ר’ הלל ווינד, הגבאי של ר’ אהרון מבעלז, לר’ דוד פרקוביץ, איש סודו של האדמו”ר ממודז’יץ.
הרב ווינד כותב כי קיבל את הקוויטל והפדיון עבור האדמו”ר ממודז’יץ והאדמו”ר מברך את האדמו”ר ממודז’יץ ברפואה שלימה. הוא מוסיף כי הרב מציע שישה דברים כסגולה לרפואה שלימה, כפי שנמסרו לו מאביו (- ר’ יששכר דב מבלז) בשם השר שלום מבעלז והאדמו”ר מלובלין. 1 – לא לשתות חלב לבד, אלא לערבב אותו עם מעט מים. 2- לא לאכול גבינה או שמנת. 3 – לא לצום צום אחר חוץ מיום כיפור. 4 – לא לשתות כל משקאות חריפים. 5 – לא ללכת לבית קברות, אפילו לא כדי להתפלל בקברי צדיקים. 6- לא להאזין למוזיקה.
