Rare autograph Kabbalah for a Shochet by R. Yehuda Leibush Landau of Sadigura, the Yad Yehuda.
R. Yehuda Leibush Landau (1823-1900) was born into a rabbinical family. He served as Rov in Mohilev and then Sadigura, where he was known as the Sadigura Rav. He was one of the great Poskim of his era. Author of the multi volume Yad Yehuda on Yoreh Deah, which was received to great acclaim and remains of the most classic seforim on Yore Deah.

ר’ יהודה לייבוש לנדאו (תקפ”ג- תר”ס, 1823-1900) נולד למשפחה רבנית מפוארת. כיהן כרב במוהילב ולימים בסדיגורא וכונה הרב מסדיגורא. היה מגדולי הפוסקים בדורו, וחיבר את הספר רב הכרכים יד יהודה על יורה דעה אשר התקבל באהדה עצומה. עד ימינו נחשב ספרו לאחד מספרי היסוד על יורה דעה.
