R. Moshe Horowitz (1909-1985), was the oldest son of R. Pinchos Dovid Horowitz, the first Bostoner Rebbe, whom he succeeded as Bostoner Rebbe in 1941. Known as a tremendous Talmid Chochom, he was widely respected and served as a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah.
