Novella on Tractates Bava Metzia and Horeyos by R. Eliezer Di-Abila. With signature of R. Yissachar Beirish Prager.
R. Eliezer Di-Abila (1711-1761), was a nephew of the Ohr HaChaim Ha’Kodosh. He served as Rav in Sa’ali and was renowned as one of the greatest Talmidei Chachomim of his time. See Shem HaGedolim (Mogen Giborim & R. Chaim Ben Attar). With numerous important approbations including one from the CHIDA.
R. Yissachar Beirish Prager (1810-1875), served as Rov in Vishnitza. Known as great Talmid Chochom, in 1864 the Divrei Chaim recommended him to serve as Rov in Rimanov. R. Prager declined the suggestion, however three days later his home and possessions were destroyed by fire, following which he accepted the Rabbonus in Rimanov. Author of “Mutzal M’Aish” (Lemberg 1865), which was aptly named because of the above occurrence.

ר’ אליעזר די- אבילא (תע”א- תקכ”א, 1711-1761), היה אחיינו של האור החיים הקדוש. כיהן כרב בסאלי ונודע כאחד מגדולי תלמידי החכמים בתקופתו. ראה שם הגדולים (מגן גיבורים ור’ חיים בן עטר). עם הסכמות רבות חשובות, ביניהן מהחיד”א.
ר’ יששכר בעריש פראגר (תק”ע- תרל”ה, 1810-1875) כיהן כרב בויז’ניצא. נודע כתלמיד חכם עצום, ובשנת תרכ”ד (1864) המליץ הדברי חיים למנותו לרב ברימנוב. הרב פראגר סירב להצעה, אולם כששלושה ימים מאוחר יותר פרצה בביתו שריפה שגבתה את כל רכושו- חזר בו מהסירוב וקיבל עליו את עול הרבנות ברימנוב. מחבר הספר “מוצל מאש”(למבערג תרכ”ה 1865) שנקרא כך על שם המאורע הנ”ל.
