Commentary on the Mishna Seder Zera’im by the Vilna Gaon.
Published by the Vilna Gaon’s son-in-law, R. Moshe of Pinsk – who included additional material of his own. In the introduction, R. Moshe relates that R. Eliezer Segal Landau reviewed the original manuscript with his talmidim, who found that some of the variant readings of the Gaon concurred with the opinions of the Rishonim.
With approbations of three Rabbonim of Lemberg: R. Tzvi Hirsch Rosanes; R. Yitzchak Ashkenazi (Taharas HaKodesh) and R. Meshulam Ha’Cohen. It also comes with a stern warning issued by the Beis Din of Vilna that published Chidushim of the Gaon should not be accepted as authentic, unless they are published with a validation of the Vilna Beis Din.

הספר יצא לאור ע”י חתנו של הגאון, ר’ משה מפינסק, שאף הוסיף חידושים משלו.
בהקדמה, כותב ר’ משה שכאשר עבר ר’ אליעזר סגל לנדאו על כתב היד המקורי יחד עם תלמידיו, מצאו כי חלק מהשינויים בקריאות הגאון מופיעות בדעות הראשונים.
עם הסכמות משלושה מרבני למבערג: ר’ צבי הירש רוזנס; ר’ יצחק אשכנזי (טהרת קודש), ור’ משולם הכהן. בספר מופיעה גם אזהרה חמורה מבית הדין דוילנא, לפיה חידושים בשם הגאון שיוצאים לאור אינם נחשבים למהימנים אלא אם נדפסו עם חותמת בית הדין.
