Fundamental Sefer Kabbalah authored by R. Chaim Vital (1542-1620), with teachings he received from his Rebbe the Arizal. R. Chaim Vital recorded the primary teachings of the ARIZAL. R. Chaim Vital writes “Know that from the day my teacher began to reveal this wisdom, I did not leave him even for a moment. And any writings you may find in his name, which differ from that which I have written in this sefer, are certainly in error since they did not comprehend his words”.
This edition includes an approbation by R. Uri Shraga Feivish of Dubrowno, student and son-in-law of the Vilna Gaon among others.

ספר יסוד בלימוד תורת הנסתר, שחיבר ר’ חיים ויטאל (ש”ב – ש”ף, 1542-1620) על פי מה שקבל מרבו, האריז”ל. ר’ חיים ויטאל (מהרח”ו) רשם את תורת רבו האריז”ל וכתב, ” דע מן היום אשר מורי ז”ל התחיל לגלות חכמה זו לא זזה ידי מתוך ידו אפילו רגע א’ וכל אשר כתוב באיזה קונטרוס ע”ש מורי זלה”ה ….. איזה דבר מנגד נגד מ”ש בספר הזה טעות גמור הוא כי לא הבינו דבריו”.
מהדורה זו כוללת הסכמה מר’ אורי שרגא פייביש מדוברוונו, תלמידו וחתנו של הגאון מוילנא, וכן הסכמות נוספות.
