An intriguing collection of various streams of Torah thoughts, this sefer was first published in Prague in 1605. Reprinted in the ancient Jewish community of Aleppo by R. Mordechai Chaim Dayan. In the introduction, the publisher quotes the Apta Rav the Gaon & Chossid, Moifes HaDor, R. Avrohom Yehoshua Heschel in his approbation to the Sefer HaChaim; “that the Torah of the author is all pearls….. written with Ruach HaKodesh”. It is rare to find mention of the early Chassidic Rebbes in seforim printed in Sephardic lands.

אוסף מעניין של הגיגי תורה בכל מכמניה. הספר נדפס לראשונה בשנת שס”ה 1605 בפראג, ויצא לאור שוב בחאלב על ידי ר’ מרדכי חיים דיין. בהקדמתו, מצטט המחבר את הרב מאפטא הגאון והחסיד, מופת הדור,מוהר”ר אברהם יהושע העשיל בהסכמתו לספר החיים; “כי כל דבריו עומדים ברומו של עולם וכל דבור ודבור מרגניתא תחותיה וברוח הקדש נאמרו כאשר ה’ אתו”. נדיר למצוא אזכור של אדמו”רים חסידיים קדומים בספרים שנדפסו בארצות המזרח.
