Yisroel Bak writes in the introduction that ever since he arrived in Eretz Yisroel he longed to publish the Sefer Ha’Zohar. He then goes on to list eleven advantages of this edition of the Zohar, the final one being that it was printed in the “Holy Land by the Holy Jewish Nation”.

ספר הזוהר עם פרוש דבש לפי של החיד”א, עם הקדמתו והסיכום. ארבעת החלקים בשלש כרכים. ר’ ישראל בק כותב בהקדמה כי מאז עלייתו לארץ ישראל השתוקק להדפיס בה את ספר הזוהר. הוא מונה 11 מעלות למהדורה זו של הזוהר כשהאחרונה בהם היא שהודפסה בארצנו הקדושה ע”י העם הקדוש.
בחלק הראשון שני עמודי שער, ועמוד שער נוסף לשאר החלקים, שבכל אחד מהם ציור יפיפה של הר הבית. עמוד שער נוסף לא מתועד בחלק השלישי.
