Yedaya HePenini, in defense of those who studied secular subjects. This Letter was first printed in the responsa of the RaSHB”A, and was reprinted here with the comments of the editor, R. Shimshon Bloch HaLevy, with an approbation of R. Yaakov Orenstein (Yeshuos Yaakov).
