Commentary on the Agados by R. Moshe Ben Eliezer Kroener.
On page 32b the author writes: “and so I have heard in the name of HaRav HaGaon HaChossid HaMefursam Moreinu HaRav R. Levi Av Beis Din of Pinsk…” This is a quote from R. Levi Yitzchok of Berditchev, when the latter was only 46 years old and was still serving as Rov and Rosh Yeshiva in Pinsk. Eventually due to the Misnagdim the Kedushas Levi was forced to leaving Pinsk and settled in Berdichev, the city after which he is known.
Additionally on page 33a the author quotes R. Yechiel Michel of Zlotchov.
Printed at the height of the dispute between the Chassidim and Misnagdim, this is one of the earliest seforim to quote from these great Tzadikim.

בעמוד 32ב כותב המחבר “וכן שמעתי בשם הרב הגאון החסיד המפורסם מורינו הרב ר’ לוי נרו’ אב”ד דק’ק פינסק…” הוא מצטט את ר’ לוי יצחק מברדיצ’ב בעודו בן 46 שנים בלבד, ועדיין משמש כרב וראש ישיבה בפינסק. בסופו של דבר בשל המגנגדים נאלץ הקדושת לוי לעזוב את פינסק והתיישב בברדיצ’ב, שעל שמה הוא נודע.
בעמוד 33א מצטט המחבר את ר’ יחיאל מיכל מזלוטשוב.
נדפס בשיא המחלוקת בין החסידים למתנגדים. ספר זה הינו מהראשונים המצטטים מצדיקים גדולים אלו.
