Important work of novella by the famed R. Avrohom Sha’ag.
R. Avrohom Sha’ag-Zwebner (1801-1876), was a foremost Talmid of the Chasam Sofer. He served as Rav in Schottelsdorf at the age of 25 and later on as Rav in Kobersdorf. When he was 72 years old, he ascended to Eretz Yisroel and settled in Yerusholayim. His most famous Talmid was R. Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, who as a young man moved to Eretz Yisroel together with him, and decades later was interred on Har HaZesim alongside him.

ר’ אברהם שאג- צוובנר (תקס”א- תרל”ו, 1801-1876), היה מתלמידיו המקורבים של החתם סופר. בגיל 25 נתמנה לכהן כרב בשכוטלסדורף ואחריה בקובלסדורף. עלה לארץ ישראל בגיל 27 והתיישב בירושלים. תלמידו המפורסם ביותר הוא ר’ יוסף חיים זוננפלד, אשר בגיל צעיר עלה יחד אתו לארץ ישראל, ושנים רבות לאחר מכן זכה להיקבר לצדו בהר הזיתים.
