R. David Yehuda Leib Zilberstein (1820-1882), was born in Bonyhad, Hungary and studied under the Ma’HaRaM A”SH and R. Koppel Charif. He served as Rav in various communities in Hungary including Kerestier and in Vietzen before emigrating to Yerusholayim in 1859. His son was R. Yeshaya Zilberstein, Rav of Vietzen (Ma’asey L’Melech).

ר’ דוד יהודה לייב זילברשטיין (תק”פ-תרמ”ב 1820-1882) נולד בבוניהד, הונגריה ולמד תורה מפי המהר”ם א”ש ור’ קאפל חריף. שימש כרב בקהילות שונות בהונגריה, בין היתר בקרעסטיר ובוויאטסן, לפני עלייתו לירושלים בשנת תרי”ט (1859). בנו היה ר’ ישעיה זילברשטיין, רבה של ויאטסן (“מעשי למלך”).
