R. Shmuel of Vodislov (d. 1706), studied in the great Yeshiva of Cracow under R. Yehoshua Heschel and R. Aryeh Leib of Cracow. He served as Rav in Furth, where he later published his second, corrected version of the Beis Shmuel (Mahadura Basra).

ר’ שמואל מוודיסלב (נפטר בתס”ו 1706), למד בישיבת קראקא אצל ר’ יהושע העשל ור’ אריה לייב מקראקא. כיהן כרב בפיורדא, בה גם הוציא לאור אחר כך את המהדורה השנייה המתוקנת לספרו בית שמואל-)מהדורה בתרא(.
