R. Elisha Gallico (died 1583), was a disciple of R. Yosef Karo (Beis Yosef). Following the passing of the Beis Yosef in 1575 he became the Chief Rabbi of Tzefas. He was among the Rabbonim involved in the attempt to reinstitute Semicha in Eretz Yisroel.

ר’ אלישע גאליקו (נפטר בשנת שמ”ג-1583) היה תלמידו של ר’ יוסף קארו (בית יוסף). לאחר פטירת הבית יוסף בשנת של”ה (1575) הוא התמנה לרב הראשי של צפת. ר’ אלישע היה אחד הרבנים שניסו לחדש את מוסד הסמיכה בארץ ישראל.
