Collected halachic responsa compiled by R. Yehoshua Yaakov Halperin. Primarily consisting of responsa sent to R. Halperin by various leaders of the generation including The SHLoH and The Levush. A list of those mentioned appears following the title page.
R. Yaakov Halperin emigrated from Poland to Italy and was a student of MaHaRaM Padua and R. Avigdor of Venice.
With a rare approbation from the SHLoH dated Venice 1621 which was written while the SHLoH was travelling to Eretz Yisroel. The SHLoH writes “It is appropriate and a Mitzvah to print … a fulfillment of “the land will be filled with knowledge and those who see it shall purchase it”.

אוסף תשובות הלכתיות שליקט ר’ יהושע יעקב הלפרין. מכיל בעיקר שו”ת שנשלחו לר’ הלפרין ממנהיגי הדור השונים, ביניהם השל”ה והלבוש. אחרי עמוד השער מופיעה רשימה של הנזכרים.
ר’ יעקב הלפרין היגר מפולין לאיטליה והיה תלמידם של מהר”מ פאדווא ור’ אביגדור מוונציה.
עם הסכמה נדירה מהשל”ה עם התאריך וונציה שפ”א 1621 שנכתבה בזמן שהשל”ה נסע לארץ ישראל. השל”ה כותב “ראוי ומצוה להדפיסו לקיים ומלאה הארץ דעה וכל עין רואה יקנהו בעין יפה ונאה”.
