A halachic work based on the commentaries on Shulchan Aruch Yore De’ah, particularly that of the P’ri Megadim, by R. Yonason Shimon Frankel-Thumim. With various important approbations including the Yeshuos Yaakov, the Peas Ha’Shulchan the Bnei Yissoschar, the Yismach Moshe and others.
R. Yonason Shimon Frankel-Thumim (1770-1840) was born in Klosne. Married to a daughter of the famous philanthropist R. Yisroel of Vishnitza. He emigrated to Eretz Yisroel in 1838, and authored various important works.
