With commentary by R. Aaron Thumim/Darshan. With the songs of “Nirztah” translated into Yiddish.
R. Aaron Thumim (1630-1690) served as a preacher “Darshan “in Prague. His sermons were so highly regarded that the moniker “Darshan” was added to his name. He later served as Rav of Worms and subsequently was appointed to the highly esteemed position of Rav of Krakow. In 1690 on route to a meeting of the “Va’ad Arba Aratzos “he was brutally murdered by a Poritz.
With 14 fine copper plate engravings. These engravings were first featured in the famous 1695 Amsterdam Haggadah and were produced by the artist Avraham ben Yaakov. This printing technique achieved a much more refined and detailed representation than previous methods.

ר’ אהרן תאומים (ש”צ-ת”נ 1630-1690) שימש כדרשן בפראג. דרשותיו היו מוערכות כל כך שהוסיפו לשמו את הכינוי “דרשן”. לימים הוא כיהן כרבה של וורמייזא והתמנה למשרה הרמה של רב העיר קראקא. בשנת ת”נ (1690) הוא נרצח בברוטאליות על ידי פריץ בדרכו לוועד ארבע הארצות
עם 14 חריטות מריקוע נחושת מהודר. חריטות אלו הופיעו לראשונה בהגדת אמסטרדם המפורסמת משנת תנ”ה (1695) ונוצרו על ידי האומן אברהם בן יעקב. טכניקת הדפוס יצרה תמונה הרבה יותר עדינה ומפורטת מאשר השיטות הקודמות
