? R. Wolf (Binyamin) Heidenheim (1757–1832)
was a German scholar and grammarian. Born
at Heidenheim, he studied at the great Yeshiva of
Furth under R. Yosef Steinhardt, author of the
Zichron Yosef. Besides Talmudic literature, he devoted
himself to the study of Hebrew grammar, and
particularly of the Mesorah. In 1782 he left Furth
for Frankfurt am Main, where he began his literary
activity, which lasted fifty years and produced many
important works.

markings. Original binding worn, with reinforced
spine.
Important work on the Mesorah with library
stamps of one of the most celebrated Hebrew
grammarians and publishers.
